"SaigaShooter - He's got an Impreza" (saigashooter)

I've had some peeling paint on the rear fender of my car since mid winter, took it to a car wash last week and it was kind enough to remove the loose paint for me.
How difficult is it to blend in on a panel like the rear wheel arch? I see that the paint inside the wheel well is also peeling.
Any advice or guides would be appreciated. I've done some body work before, but I didn't need to blend as it was a lower half of a door with plastic door guards running the width of the door.

I second this. I have similar issues, but am more concerned with rust prep, as it is a black car.

If you want anything resembling a professional result, you'll want to use professional gear and blend where the panels are "narrowest" (think C-pillar and rocker panels)

its really just surface rust, but get to it now before it starts impacting the shape of the edge. if you can't afford a pro finish, for now, grind back the paint and rust to stop it spreading and primer it, and perhaps hit it with some random blue spray. later when you can afford a more pro job it won't be as big a deal

That's an easy fix ! Do it soon before the cancer eats through like it did on my Durango... http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/the-diagnosis-…

Here's a wider shot of the panel. the car is a 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo (Yes, I know it sucks)
The white spot on the right of the wheel well is also bubbled paint. haven't looked to see how bad the rust is there, and you can sorta see the flaking in the wheel well around the spot welds. The other side has the flaking inside the wheel well, but nothing on the outside.
